Online courses in Wetland Management, Integrated River Basin Management and Wetlands for Water Quality UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, The Netherlands (Member of WetCap) http://www.unesco-ihe.org/ Aim: The online courses aim at life-long learning where professionals combine learning with daily work and the possibility to directly apply acquired know - ledge and skills. The I-Learning Environment provides participants with training material for downloading and communication with trainers and participants. The course offers new learning methods; challenging lectures combined with online group interaction and discussions. For groups, there is the option to combine online learning with face-to-face workshops or video-conferences. Who can participate: The course is designed for professionals actively involved in wetland or river basin management. They may be working in local, regional or national governments, as staff of NGO, as junior university lecturer, for wastewater treatment companies, etc. Location: The courses can be followed at any location, as long as participants have an Internet connection. Duration: Each course has a study load of 140 hours (3 weeks), divided over a period of 4 months (about 8 hours per week).
