Regional Training of Trainers on Wetland Management for Central and West Asia

Aim: Courses focus on facilitating development of necessary capacities within wetland management organizations of the contracting parties in the Central and West Asia Region. The aim of the center is to promote abilities of the contracting parties in the region for sound implementation of the Convention.

Who can participate: Courses are offered to the contracting parties in the region. Non-contracting parties in the region will also be encouraged to participate in such events. The participants need approval of the Ramsar National Focal Point of their country. Foreseen course languages include English, Arabic, Farsi, Urdu and Russian.

Duration: To be announced for each course.

Location: Location of the training will generally be at the Ramsar Regional Center in Ramsar, but can also be provided elsewhere in the region.

In collaboration with: The Ramsar Secretariat, International Organisation Partners of Ramsar, MEDWET, WetCap, College of Environment (Iran), Contracting Parties in the region and other interested parties.
