Field course for the economic and sustainable development of lowland ecosystems in the humid tropics

Aim: The field courses focus on natural resources, the livelihoods of local communities and gender perspectives in lowland ecosystems of Borneo (Sarawak in Malaysia and Western and Central Kalimantan in Indonesia) and the Mekong Delta in Vietnam.

Who can participate: Postgraduate students, from both social and natural sciences
backgrounds, from institutions of higher education in Europe and Asia.

Duration: 3 to 4 weeks.

Location: At the University of Sarawak, Malaysia; in Pontianak and Palangka Raya,
Kalimantan, Indonesia and at Can Tho University in Vietnam.
